Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Commerce and Economic Studies (IJCES) invites the submission of original, unpublished, and high-quality research manuscripts from researchers, academicians, scholars, industry professionals, policymakers, and practitioners from across the world. The journal provides an inclusive and internationally recognized platform for disseminating scholarly work that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the domains of commerce, economics, management, finance, and allied social science disciplines.

IJCES encourages the submission of manuscripts that offer theoretical contributions, empirical evidence, methodological innovations, and practical insights addressing contemporary issues and emerging trends in business and economic environments. The journal particularly welcomes interdisciplinary research that integrates concepts and methods from multiple disciplines to enhance understanding of complex economic and commercial phenomena at local, national, and global levels.

Authors are expected to submit manuscripts that reflect academic rigor, originality, clarity of expression, and relevance to current research and professional practice. Submissions should be grounded in sound theoretical frameworks, supported by appropriate research methodologies, and demonstrate clear implications for academia, industry, policy formulation, or societal development. Manuscripts should contribute new knowledge or offer significant reinterpretations of existing theories and practices rather than merely replicating prior studies.

The journal accepts a wide range of scholarly contributions, including original research articles, review papers, conceptual and theoretical studies, case studies, empirical investigations, policy analyses, and applied research papers. All submissions must be the original work of the author(s) and must not be under review or published elsewhere in any form.

To ensure academic quality and integrity, all submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial evaluation to assess their relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, structure, and ethical compliance. Manuscripts that pass this stage are subjected to a rigorous double-blind peer review process, where independent experts evaluate the work based on its scholarly merit, methodological soundness, clarity, and contribution to the field.

Authors are encouraged to carefully follow the journal’s submission and formatting guidelines to facilitate a smooth review process. Proper citation of sources, adherence to ethical research standards, and disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest are mandatory. The journal maintains a strict policy against plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and unethical publication practices.

As an open-access journal, IJCES ensures that all accepted and published articles are freely accessible to the global academic and professional community. This policy enhances the visibility, reach, and impact of authors’ research while supporting the broader dissemination of knowledge.

By inviting high-quality scholarly submissions, the International Journal of Commerce and Economic Studies aims to foster intellectual exchange, academic excellence, and evidence-based research that supports sustainable economic development, effective business practices, and informed policymaking worldwide.
